Each morning when the children arrive they are invited to join us at the tables that are set up with arts and crafts. The projects change daily, so there is always something new for the children to create.

Sharing Circle–The children bring something from home to talk about or share with their classmates. We then discuss the days of the week, months, planets, seasons, oceans and continents. We count, talk about beginning letter sounds and vowels and discuss our theme of the month.

Nap/Rest time. The children that don’t nap, work in small groups with a teacher on the curriculum needed for kindergarten. Some things we focus on are rhyming, patterns, writing letters and numbers, matching, letter sounds, tracing, reading and counting.
